I may upgrade this to be my plex server and transition everything over slowly as the mint PC hosting VMs has an i5 K series and 16GB HyperX RAM. I've a main PC with Linux Mint I use virtualbox to host a W10 WM on there that has remote access. I am using a samba share to act as the plex directory where movies are copied and pasted from several users on the network at 11MBPS on straight through copper medium. Plex needs the content to have full permissions. You need to get the automounting, permissions right from the getgo to avoid head aches later. ![]() I run plex on a N36L HP Microserver (Dual core athlon CPU, 5GB RAM, Ubuntu) as well as samba server.
